Can architecture be critical despite its interdependent relationship with power and profit? Critique, as some would have us believe, is dead, an unnecessary leftover from a time of emancipatory promises. We disagree. Critique is alive and kicking, and very much needed today. This book aims to demonstrate this by showcasing a range of approaches of critique and engaged architectural practices that involve design, theory, and activism.
