The Disavowed

Travelling exhibition about people persecuted as “asocials” and “career criminals” under National Socialism, competition 1st prize 2023, opening: 10.10.2025 in Berlin,

The Foundation Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp Memorial were commissioned by the German Bundestag to develop a travelling exhibition on those who were persecuted under National Socialism as “asocials” and “career criminals”.
The aim of the exhibition project, which is one of the most important commemorative projects of the current decade in the Federal Republic of Germany, is to shed light on the injustice imposed on the victims and their suffering.

The exhibition opened in Berlin on 10 October 2024 and is then shown at KZ-Gedenkstätte Flossenbürg as a second stop. For at least five years, the exhibition will travel throughout Germany and Austria.
